How many paychecks can you miss before you are impoverished?

makerain1

…that wasn’t a rhetorical question? How many paychecks can you miss before you are out on the streets with no place to go? If you have never thought about that question before in your life, now is the time….

I’m not sure about other races, but I know we black people spend WAY to much money and save very little. WBLS 107.5 posted a the following:

DAME DASH says a Jewish businessman calls black people ”liquid money” because we give it all away!!

In a recent article Dash quoted a colleague saying: “We call you (black people) liquid money. The same way that water falls out of a man’s hands, money typically seeps out of a black person’s hands the same way. Your community gets money and immediately gives it all away to people who aren’t black. We see that as a huge business opportunity.”

Examples used – black people on payday or when they get our tax refunds. He noted blacks to an Indian business to cash the check, an Asian hair salon, a corner store owned by Arabs and/or a department store owned by whites. When it’s all said and done these other business people are waiting like hungry animals to eat blacks’ bank accounts as if they are the prey.

Whatcha’ think Agree or Disagree ______________________?

A lot of black people would probably get upset with this or offended but I think its an opportunity to change how we do things. Most the people I know, including myself, didn’t grow up with much and when we did get an opportunity to have money we all but bathed in it. Buying whatever we couldn’t buy before and getting more and more in debt.

I know first hand because this is what I had done for the longest. I bought whatever I wanted, didn’t save much of anything and was in a position of living paycheck to paycheck. And always wondering why I never had money although I was making almost $100K a year. I had absolutely no respect for money at all. For me, it was here for me to spend. I thought because I had a 401k that I was saving, boy was I wrong. Never in a million years did I think about the day of not having money to spend at will. When I lost it all, I was blessed in a way because I didn’t have children or immediate family so all I had to do was learn my lesson, dust off my ragged little clothes and do better. If you have a family that depends on you, you are playing Russian Roulette with the lifestyles of yourself and your loved ones. Put the gun down, and take responsibility for your life and that of your families.

So, instead of getting upset or calling this man racist, listen to what he is saying, use it to empower yourself. Take courses or read books on investing and/or saving, read anything that will help make your money grow instead of diminish. And then,  join me as we say together…

“Thank you Mr. Pompous rich man, I will use what you’ve said to change my life and get my money right for myself and my family”

Now let’s see how much money he can make off us then? *sprinkles* *smooches*

Oh, by the way, “making it rain” is the most stupid and absolutely most absurd thing you could ever do with money. And for the Average Joe? How the stripper you raining on gone have more money than you? smh #FYI

Remember this if you remember nothing else...

If you can’t afford to pay for it in cash, you can’t afford it.
